There’s exciting news for The Witcher fans! Shooting for Season 4 of the popular Netflix series will wrap up in October 2024.
This season brings a major change as Liam Hemsworth replaces Henry Cavill. Hemsworth, known for his role in The Hunger Games, was cast after Cavill’s sudden exit in late 2022.
New Faces on The Witcher Season 4
Liam Hemsworth is not the only change. Fans will be happy to see the return of beloved characters played by Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri), Joey Batey (Jaskier), and more.
This season also introduces Laurence Fishburne as Regis, a vampire barber-surgeon.
Jack Myers joins the cast in a mysterious role known as River. Myers is famous for his roles in The Crown and White Lines.

Henry Cavill’s exit from the series surprised many fans. While the exact reasons for his leaving are not clear, it has opened the door for Hemsworth to bring his own style to the character.
Fans have mixed feelings about Hemsworth taking over Geralt from Cavill, with some thrilled to see Hemsworth perform the role and others disappointed.

Filming for Season 4 started in April 2024 and will finish by October 31, 2024. After that, the team will begin work on Season 5, which is sure to keep the excitement going.
