Jaat box office collection prediction day 1: Sunny Deol’s much-anticipated comeback film, Jaat, has hit theatres today, and early trends suggest a promising start.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the action-packed entertainer is expected to rake in around ₹10 crore on its opening day, making it one of Deol’s strongest openers after Gadar 2.

Morning Trends Show Moderate Occupancy

The film opened with 12.49% occupancy in morning and afternoon shows across India. Released on over 14,100 screens, including multiplexes and single screens, Jaat has the potential to gain momentum during evening and night shows.

Its pre-sales figures were modest, earning ₹2.37 crore from bookings, with over 1.14 lakh tickets sold.

Holiday Boost & Mass Appeal

Benefiting from the Mahavir Jayanti holiday, Jaat is expected to perform well in tier-two and tier-three cities. The film’s South Indian-style action sequences and star-studded cast, including Randeep HoodaRamya Krishnan, and Jagapathi Babu, have generated buzz among mass audiences.

Comparison With Sunny’s Previous Hits

If predictions hold true, Jaat will become Sunny Deol’s second-highest opener after Gadar 2, which earned ₹40.1 crore on Day 1 in 2023.

It is also likely to surpass his earlier films like Chup (₹3.06 crore) and Yamla Pagla Deewana (₹7.75 crore).
