Salman Khan’s Sikandar Full Movie Leaked Online Hours Before Release: Over 3,000 Pirated Links Removed

Updated:

The much-anticipated Eid release, Salman Khan’s Sikandar, faced a major setback as the Sikandar full movie was leaked online just hours before its theatrical debut on March 30, 2025.

Despite stringent anti-piracy measures, pirated HD versions of the movie have surfaced on platforms like Tamilrockers, Movierulz, Filmyzilla, and Telegram groups, causing widespread concern among the film’s makers and fans.

Authorities Combat

The leak prompted immediate action from Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house. It collaborated with Mumbai Police’s Cyber Cell and Salman Khan’s fan clubs to remove over 3,000 pirated links.

The production team has flagged over 1,000 accounts responsible for sharing illegal copies of the Sikandar HD movie.

Investigations are ongoing, with authorities tracking IP addresses to identify culprits. However, the source of the leak remains unknown, with speculation pointing to a possible breach during post-production.

Film trade analyst Komal Nahta called the incident a “producer’s worst nightmare,” emphasizing that piracy could cost the film 30-40% of its box office revenue.

He stated that such leaks discourage audiences from visiting theatres when they can access content for free online.

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna React

While Salman Khan has yet to issue a formal statement, his fan base has rallied behind him.

Fans celebrated Sikandar’s release with grand gestures in theatres but also actively combated piracy by reporting illegal links online.

Co-star Rashmika Mandanna supported these efforts and expressed disappointment over the leak of the Sikandar movie download versions circulating on pirate sites.

Box Office Impact and Mixed Reviews

Despite the piracy setback, Sikandar managed to earn an estimated ₹21.96 crore on its opening day domestically and ₹54 crore worldwide.

This was aided by strong Eid spot bookings. However, early reviews have been mixed to negative, with critics citing weak storytelling and lackluster chemistry between Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna as major drawbacks.

The incident has reignited debates about Bollywood’s ongoing piracy battle.
