Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will lead the fourth instalment of YRF’s iconic action franchise, Dhoom. Filming is scheduled to begin in April 2026.
Major Transformation Ahead
The actor will transform dramatically and sport multiple looks for his role in Dhoom 4.
Before starting the film, Kapoor will complete his current projects including Love and War and Ramayana.
The production team is looking to finalize two female leads and an antagonist, with key contenders from South Indian cinema being considered for the villain’s role.
Just read Ranbir is going to be the cop in Dhoom 4. Antagonist is from south. Means, basically he will replace Abhishek Bachchan in the Dhoom series. Imagine the irony. Matlab YRF ko bhi pata hai ki he cannot live up to the legacy created by John, Hrithik and Aamir. Lmao.

Before Dhoom 4 goes on the floor, Ranbir has a packed schedule.
- Love and War: Releasing in March 2026

The film is expected to be the biggest in the Dhoom franchise. It aims to set new standards as a tentpole feature of global calibre in Indian cinema.
