Actor Ram Kapoor has once again captured headlines, not just for his return to the screen but for adding a brand-new Lamborghini Urus SE SUV to his impressive car collection.
Valued at over ₹4.57 crore, this high-end purchase quickly sparked buzz that he was the first Indian to own this specific model. However, Kapoor himself has clarified the widespread reports.
According to NDTV, he stated, “I’m not the first Indian to buy this car. Around 4 to 5 people had already purchased it before me. But yes, you could say I’m the first Indian to buy it in this colour“.
Kapoor Sets the Record Straight on Lamborghini Urus SE
During promotions for his upcoming web series Mystery, Ram Kapoor confirmed that while he is not the very first Indian owner of a Lamborghini Urus, he might be the first to acquire the Urus SE variant in its distinct Verde Gea (matte olive green) color.
He also revealed that cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar owns a similar model, further dispelling the notion that he was the inaugural owner in India. The interiors of his new SUV feature a bold black leather finish with striking orange accents, making it a truly unique specification.
A Beast Under the Hood and On Screen
The Lamborghini Urus SE is a plug-in hybrid marvel, boasting a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine combined with an electric motor to deliver a staggering 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque.
It can hit 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 312 kmph. This luxurious SUV joins Kapoor’s existing garage, which includes a Porsche 911, Ferrari Portofino M, and Mercedes-AMG G 63.
