Good news for science fiction fans! The much-awaited “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is set to be released on OTT in India.
After a successful run in theatres, fans are eagerly waiting to watch it from home. It hits Indian theatres on May 10, 2024. The movie grossed over $157 million worldwide, making it the fifth-highest-grossing movie of the year.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is an independent sequel to the 2017 movie War for the Planet of the Apes. It is the fourth entry in the rebooted series and the tenth installment in the overall franchise.
The story is set 300 years after “War for the Planet of the Apes” and follows Noa, a young ape, and Mae, a human woman, as they go on a journey to create a better future for both apes and humans.
Directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman, this American science fiction action film has received positive reviews.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes OTT Release Date
Starting from July 9, viewers can watch this blockbuster on various digital platforms such as Apple, Amazon, and YouTube Video through Video on Demand (VOD). Also, speculations suggest that the movie might be available on Hulu or Hulu on Disney+. However, there hasn’t been an official announcement yet.
This movie opened well in India, earning Rs 3.15 crore on its first day, Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs 4.3 crore on Sunday. The total estimated collection after six days is Rs 17.30 crores.
