Kalki 2898 AD OTT Release: When and Where to Watch this Sci-Fi Epic?

Kalki 2898 AD is set in a futuristic city called Kashi. The story follows Bhairava (Prabhas), who aims to earn more units to move to the Complex.

Meanwhile, Ashwattama protects SUM 80 and her child. The story is inspired by Hindu mythology and promises thrills.

Before even hitting the big screen, Kalki 2898 AD has already sold an impressive number of tickets.

The Telugu version alone has sold over 265,000 tickets, grossing Rs 7.7 crore in various formats including 3D, 2D, and IMAX.

The Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions have also seen significant pre-sales, contributing to 281,895 tickets sold across 3,775 shows, grossing Rs 8.22 crore.

Kalki 2898 AD OTT Release Details

Kalki 2898 AD digital streaming rights have been acquired by two major platforms. Netflix has secured the Hindi version for around Rs 175 crore.

Amazon Prime Video has purchased the rights for southern languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam) for about Rs 200 crore.

This means fans can enjoy the film on their favourite OTT platforms in their languages soon after its theatrical release.

The film is set to release in theatres on June 27, 2024. However, the OTT release date will depend on its box office performance.

If the movie does well, the digital release might be delayed. Alternatively, if it underperforms, it could be available online sooner.
